Dignity For Her Sustainable Menstrual Support for Every Girl Dignity For Her is a structured, long-term initiative by Pertubuhan Kita dan Haid dedicated to addressing period poverty among schoolgirls from underprivileged communities. Menstrual poverty is not just about access to products. It affects school attendance, academic performance, emotional wellbeing, and self-confidence. For many girls, the lack of consistent menstrual support means missing school, falling behind academically, and facing unnecessary stigma. One-off donations are not enough. Dignity For Her was created to build a sustainable ecosystem of support — one that is structured, accountable, and continuous. How the Programme Works This school-based programme ensures that selected students receive: 12 months of uninterrupted menstrual product support Confidential and structured monthly distribution Monitoring and documentation to ensure accountability Collaboration directly with schools for accurate identification and fair distribution Each student is identified by the school, verified for need, and supported through a discreet and monitored monthly distribution system. This approach ensures stability — not temporary relief. Who We Support The programme focuses on: Girls from B40 families Schools in rural and semi-urban areas Institutions with identified menstrual support gaps Our goal is to reduce absenteeism caused by menstruation and restore dignity, confidence, and equal educational opportunity. Governance & Transparency Dignity For Her is implemented with: Transparent fund management Inventory tracking from supplier to recipient Full protection of student privacy Structured impact monitoring and reporting Every contribution is traceable. Every distribution is recorded. Every girl is supported with dignity. Our Scale & Vision Target schools: 100 Girls supported: 10,000 Duration: 12-month continuous commitment The programme is designed for scalable expansion through public and corporate partnership.
